What are CECs?
The Continuing Education Credit (CEC) is a nationally recognized method of quantifying the time spent in the physical or virtual classroom during professional development and training activities. Ten hours of instruction equals one (1) CEC.
The primary purpose of the CEC is to provide a permanent record of the educational accomplishments of an individual who has completed significant non-credit educational and career enhancement experiences.
At ISU, we offer CECs to staffing professionals who seek quality professional development.
These CEC’s may be applied toward ISU Certifications or certain trade association Certification programs.
