To Check Your Equipment (Print Out This Page)
1.Click on this link - istaffingu.megameeting.com - to enter the Checkup room.
2.Click “Agree”
3.Enter the site as “Guest”
4.Meeting Name: “Checkup”
5.Enter your “Name“
6.Click Connect - (Make sure your headset and camera are plugged in before you enter the meeting)
7.If you just see a blank page you need Flash. Click this link to download Flash.
8.If message appears and says “select another port,” choose “Port 80” under the Connection Type link.
9.Once in the meeting select “Agree” and check the “Remember” box when the prompt asks.
10.If you see yourself continue to next step. If the camera light is ON and you still do not see your image:
i.Right click on you screen and select the 'settings' menu. Select the tab with the web cam on it and choose your camera from the dropdown camera list. If you do not see it appear in this list, close the browser and try again.
ii.Make sure other applications or browsers are not using your camera.
iii.Make sure your camera lens is not blocked or pointed the wrong way.
11.To use your headset select the Lock button in the top left corner. When you speak you should see a red volume chart move up and down to the right of the lock button.
If you do not see the red line (looks like a thermometer) right click and go to settings. Then select the microphone (your headset is both a microphone and speakers) tab and select your device from the drop down tab. Now select the lock button. If this does not work make sure that there are no other programs using your mic.
12.Once your mic and camera are working you are ready for the meeting.
