How Our Distance Learning Programs Work
Our distance learning programs are primarily asynchronous (self-paced) – to allow students to complete their coursework on their own schedule / timeframe. You may enroll in a Staffing Career Certificate Program at any time; the Staffing Manager Credential Program has a set start date and ending.
Once you are enrolled in a Certificate or Credential Program:
- You will receive your Books and Materials– by mail or email (your choice).
- You may log on to our web site with your personal code and complete each course required.
- Your instructor will be available to answer questions that you may have during the program.
- After completing each course required, you will take an exam online.
- Each exam will be corrected and your grades will be e-mailed to you.
- Your final examination will be corrected and you will receive your final grade.
- Upon completion of your coursework and a final grade of 76% or better, you will be offered an Internship or Research Project that you will be required to complete.
- Upon successful completion of your Internship or Research Project, you will receive your Staffing Career Certificate.
Upon graduation, you may access Job opportunities through our Job Center (which is available to ISU Staffing Certificate Program graduations only and is free of charge) or contact our Job Placement department for assistance.
