Camera Just about any properly connected and installed webcam will work with istaffingu.megameeting.com. Webcams can be as inexpensive as $20, and go all the way up to $179 (and higher) in price. We recommend the following manufacturers: Logitech, GE, Intel, iSight (Mac), Phillips (Linux), Creative Labs, Sony, Micro, LinkSys and Labtec.
USB Computer Headset Any type of headset will work, but we do recommend you use a non-bluetooth headset. USB headsets can be as inexpensive as $15, and go all the way up to $75 (and higher) in price. The following manufacturers are recommended: Cyber Acoustics, Plantronics, Logitech, etc.
The webcam and USB headsets may be purchased from office or computer supply stores such as Staples, Office Depot, Office Max; Amazon.com, Headsets.com and many others.
Be sure that your webcam and headset is working before you join the virtual class.
Your Computer and Internet Browser
Your computer must be connected to the Internet using any broadband method including DSL, cable, T1, etc. Dial-up will not work. Use almost any Internet browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, Safari, etc.) with version 7.0 or higher of the Flash media player (ships with most new computers and is installed on more than 90% of the worlds computers).
Your computer can be any of the following: Windows 95/98/2000/XP, MAC OSX or LINUX with 1.2 GHz or faster processor, 256 MB of RAM, 240kpbs (or faster) Internet connectivity
